If you haven’t gotten a chance to see The Illusionist starring Edward Norton I recommend you do so before you even think about renting or buying The Prestige because it was quite boring and I must say both Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman weren’t very convincing nor entertaining. The director of Batman Begins Christopher Nolan, I must say felt off on this film.  How many times do you have to show the viewer sabotage scenes of both Bale and Jackman? The answer is a few then move on. The film is pretty much about some Illusionist magicians trying to get each other’s secrets and they are willing to do anything possible to get it.

Don’t even think about wasting your money, wait until it hits T.N.T. television.

STORY SYNOPSIS:  ”Award-winning actors Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Scarlett Johansson star in ‘The Prestige,’ the twisting, turning story that, like all great magic tricks, stays with you. Two young, passionate magicians, Robert Angier (Jackman), a charismatic showman, and Alfred Borden (Bale), a gifted illusionist, are friends and partners until one fateful night when their biggest trick goes terribly wrong.
