Good. I’m glad you won’t leave here. I like the forum, but I think I will always be more attached here, my “first love” I suppose. More intimate. Do you know what I mean? The forum is nice, but sometimes overwhelming to me. I guess because I’m not a bigtime blogger of sorts. Just a newbie. To improve my English I usually watch movies in English, with English subtitles, using headphones (not to miss even a word), and you know I’m fond of Mr.Bale’s voice, so I ended up knowing his lines by heart. I can quote almost all 3:10 to Yuma and The Prestige. But I’m great also quoting Batman Begins and TDK. I’m a bit mental. LOL

Hey girls, maybe it’s because I’m fond of this place , the forum is a very nice place but nothing compared to here.
I joined a month ago but I left my very first message there only last week (my nickname is Elena – no originality – so if you like, come there and say hello to me). They are all nice and I found out there is an International fan forum into it. So I left some messages in the Italian section.
It is huge and full of sections and by now I feel a stranger there, you know I’m a CB fan but I’m not so deep into it as they are, they know all, they comment all, I’m reading some of their posts and I usually find it hard to reply, maybe it’s just because I’m new. Moreover I haven’t so much time to spend there, But it’s a very nice place, Baleheads are nice, you should try to leave a message there and see what happens

Okay we will buzz around together. The two proverbial flies swarming around. LOL Biehn would have to eat his shoes. No way would he talk to CB in any way, other than with respect. Of course, CB would talk to him with respect….unless Biehn got on his nerves. It is known that CB doesn’t like people (male or female) who think too highly of themselves. Did you ever see that interview of TDK, when the wrestler was interviewing him, and CB was clearly annoyed by him because the wrestler was sooooo arrogant? Priceless.

I have no doubt with CB in PE, unfortunately, he is only in a supporting role, and we probably won’t see much of him. But, some of his yumminess is better than none. As far as Depp is concerned, time will tell.

I want to see PE, but I think I want to see Terminator Salvation more. Only because CB is the actual star in this movie, and because I think this will boost CB up from the “rant” episode, and ram all that “hate” from everyone back down their throats. I hope the movie will do well for CB and for MCG.

I wonder if someday McG calls Biehn to play a part in a Terminator movie (unlikely) how he would talk with CB. Ha! Biehn would have to eat his shoes. I would want to be the proverbial fly and look at his face… hehe

I have no doubt CB will be a perfect Purvis, and people already are recognizing it. Those who watched the raw cut did. From what I’ve heard CB and Depp don’t have much onscreem time together, but I’m curious to see that either. But don’t fool yourself, the Depp fanatics will praise Depp no matter how bad he is. After reading a post of someone saying that he was beautiful as the mad hatter I don’t doubt it! LOL I’m curious about what the critics will say. The majority like Depp, but if he acts badly they will talk. But I’m sure they will recognize CBs talent. I think they will praise CB and Crudup too.

Well. Depp strikes again doesn’t he? Not what I expected, but then again….I should’ve expected it. I’m so used to CB and his well choiced manly, handsome roles. I was quite shocked. I’m even more shocked by the comments of Depp’s fans. They are truly down to the bone fans aren’t they? Even when Depp looks like a total idiot in that getup, and they KNOW he does, they are going to say he looks fantastic. And they can’t wait to see the movie. This is going up against CB in Public Enemies? No wonder people are saying that Depp doesn’t have the acting chops to go against CB. All they have to do is look at that picture, and he will lose all credibility as a manly actor. CB is a manly actor. He isn’t a wuss. If you are going up against him on screen, or in private for that matter, you can’t be a pansy….or a Mad Hatter. Sorry had to throw that in there. Depp loves those……gayish roles with makeup.

I think you hit the nail on the head with Biehn. I didn’t realize it, until you said it, but you are right. MCG didn’t say much, if anything at all, about Biehn, like he did the other previous characters in the Terminator series. He probably is a sore cry baby. Big baby. He probably looks at CB, and sees the body and the good looks, the full head of hair, (had to go there) the acting chops, the bada** persona, which actually hasn’t hurt him, but helped him in some cases now, the way women just adore him, and his loyal fan base, and he probably wants to be him. People then, get consumed with jealousy and start bad mouthing people just because they want what the other has. Biehn had his day….he needs to get over it.

Well, I guess for Purvis, it can’t be helped if the character hasn’t been developed in neither the book nor the movie. However, I think CB will still give a dynamic performance with whatever they give him. Hopefully, the critics will recognize the fact that his character has not been developed and won’t hold it against him as an actor. I’m curious, and I’ve said it before, on how Depp is going to stand up to CB on screen. Depp does well by himself, but with a heavyweight such as CB knocking on his door, I wonder how he will do? He won’t be able to hide behind loads of makeup on this one. Dillinger was a man’s man. He was tough. So was Purvis. We all believe that CB can pull his role, of course, but can Depp?

I did join the forum. Lovely ladies there. I’m so green, don’t know what I’m doing yet, and like you, I think I like it here. Not to say I don’t like the forum, because I do, but I know my buddies here. Everyone is nice there, but I don’t know how much time I will be on it. The forum has so many things to do, I get confused. LOL I’m afraid I’m going to do something wrong, and get booted off of it.

About the Purvis character: I really think it is a flaw from the story and I doubt it will be fixed for the final product. I read someone commenting about the original story (the book) and he/she said that Purvis was poorly developed on it. So the movie can’t be much better. The story centers in Dillinger, not Purvis, so…

As for Biehn … “I had some respect for him, but what I had flew out the window when he opened his mouth on TMZ. ” Exactly, me too. I liked him in Cameron’s movies… but I think he sucked in the others. Anyway, the little respect I had died after this. He’s probably angry that McG didn’t even think in calling him to make a cameo in the new Terminator movies. McG already talked excitedly about Robert Patrick, Arnold and Hamilton, and didn’t even mention him…. hes probably pissed that hes losing an opportunity to “come back from the dead”… you know what I mean. Humm… I actually looked at his filmography in IMDB. Looks like hes not so dead afterall but I didn’t see any of his movies, and it seems all of them suck anyway (a lot of tv stuff and cameos).

I found the picture of Depp as the mad hatter! I’m sure the first time that I saw it wasn’t in the link that I’m giving here because this is a site that I didn’t even know existed until I searched for the picture. CB is used to playing different roles, bouncing around from independent to blockbuster and visa versa. Depp isn’t. This is a totally different role for him to play than what he is use to playing. I wonder was it hard for him to play? I also wonder what he and Mann got into it about?

I like what you said about CB’s charisma/strength. He does have that, doesn’t he? Okay, you guys know me, I’m going to start giggling now. May the typos commence….
