It is, as always, great to read an interview with Mr. Bale. I love his sense of humour, very witty and british with that self-depreciation. Shows how he is humble and down-to-earth, far from the prima-dona celebrity the media tried to portray recently. He really takes his work seriously, but clearly he doesn’t take himself seriously! Intelligent and eloquent as always.
I really liked what he said about Michael Mann. I mean, that he loved to work with him and to know how Mann is a perfectionist, just like CB, actually. Also that Mann is a director that he would like to work with again. I’ve read articles about Public Enemies where Mann always praises CB and his way of acting/working… It seems Mann really liked him as well, too bad that CB’s part in PE is small. But I see signs of that partnership happening again!! Great news for me. I adore Mann, he has done excellent movies! I hope he picks Bale again for some of his next projects and, of course, for bigger roles. I’m crossing my fingers here, but I’m pretty confident it will happen since CB is a perfectionist just like Mann and Mann seems to call again actors he likes (Jamie Foxx as example). Can’t wait for the next one!

It is possible of course but I don’t think so because of the way he used it. It is an expression often used in the plural, refering to the future. I’ve heard people that don’t have any kids talking like that. But it might express a wish to have more. Who knows? I wouldn’t read too much into it now.
