The Dark Knight director drops out of The Prisoner to focus on the next installment in the Batman Begins reboot franchise. While there has been no official studio announcement that director Christopher Nolan will return for a third installment of the new Batman franchise. A recent announcement purports that Nolan is leaving the production of The Prisoner to focus on development of the next Batman film. Back in June, actor Christian Bale lamented that he is obligated to appear as Bruce Wayne/Batman in a third Batman movie, but that Nolan had no such contract stipulation to direct. “I truly don’t know that we’re ever going to see another Batman movie. It would be purely that (Nolan) would need to find a story that was good enough and if he couldn’t find that it wouldn’t happen.” Bale went on to say that he didn’t want to consider playing Batman without Nolan at the helm. “I don’t even want to think about that. and….once again no one, not Warner Bros. or Chris Nolan have officially announced ANYTHING. and The Nolan dropped The Prisoner a long time ago for the time needed for INCEPTION. of course we all hope for B3, so cross our collective fingers it happens! |

EEEE! I really, really hope that this actually happens! I love the Nolanverse Batman SO SO SO SO much, and I’m a huge fan of Christian and ALL of his movies (though him as Bruce Wayne makes me all happy inside <3) and I hope that the third Nolanverse film is going to be awesome <3 |

OMG! I am soooo tired of this sick thing about going round rumours again and again…I hope Batman III will be released finally but it is stupid being every day with this topic. |
