Iā€™ve been shot down in the middle of the Vietnam conflict, taken prisoner, starved, beaten and finally escaped.

Wow, heā€™s really suffered, thatā€™s also the sign of great acting.

Bale gets beat some more, almost killed and then finally rescued, uh, sometime around dawn.Audience Member #3
Look heā€™s happy and safe now, thatā€™s not how great acting ends.

Bale starts crying uncontrollably.
