Rachel Weisz is being lined up to play Catwoman in the new Batman film, according to rumours doing the rounds in Hollywood. The actress is hotly tipped to take the role even though nothing has been officially announced regarding the movie – not even which baddies the Caped Crusader will be tackling. E! Online reports that Christian Bale will be back “playing a ’sexier’ Bruce Wayne and that The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan is also on board. The Dark Knight, which was released earlier this year, was a huge box office success and has already been tipped for Oscar glory. Rachel as Catwoman, yea I so CAN NOT see that. If you are familiar with the story life of Selina Kyle (if they plan to at least use her comic biography as an anchor). She didn’t have the golden life, plus shes Gotham’s finest cat burgler! I can’t see Rachel doing it, neither with Angelina Jolie (seen her face so many times its getting boring). Rachel just doesn’t have it. Need some one else who has been a bad girl. Then again Heath did a stunning performance in a role which I believed I was going to laugh at. But hey I have faith in Nolan so if he goes with Rachel, I go his back lol! |
